What Can I Expect During my Botox® Treatment?

Your Botox® treatment will be performed by one of our clinical staff in our state-of-the-art facility. Before your Botox® treatment begins, your skin will be cleansed and a topical anesthetic will be applied to the entire treatment area. This is to ensure you remain as comfortable as possible throughout your treatment. Once numb, a series of Botox® injections will strategically and carefully be made into the upper third of your face. The entire treatment process typically takes 30 minutes to an hour to complete.

What Results Can I Expect from Botox®?

Because Botox® is a minimally invasive treatment, patients are able to return to their normal daily activities including work immediately following their appointment. Patients report experiencing mild redness, tenderness, swelling, and bruising around their treated areas, however, these side effects typically subside within a few hours of treatment. Because the active ingredients in Botox® take a few days to take effect, it may take up to five days to see your desired results. We typically recommend patients receive Botox® treatments every three to four months to maintain their desired results.
