The entire surgical procedure typically takes about one to two hours to complete. What Can I Expect During my Breast Augmentation Recovery?
Following your breast augmentation, you will likely experience swelling, bruising, tenderness, and soreness around your chest. You will be asked to wear a surgical bra for the duration of your recovery to ensure your breasts settle and heal properly. Patients typically make an initial recovery within about two weeks, at which time they are able to return to most non-labor-intensive daily activities.
